World of Warcraft : Dragonflight is the ninth expansion to Blizzard's legendary MMORPG, and the current release date of "WoTLK Gold," a listing for its prequel novel may reveal clues about when Dragonflight may officially arrive.

As spotted by Wowhead an untitled Dragonflight prequel novel has surfaced on Amazon with the date of release set for November 22nd, 2022. The information alone isn't enough to be a basis but, as Wowhead notes, prior prequel novels have been released approximately four months prior to the release of a new expansion.

The Legion expansion prequel novel, Illidan came out in April of 2016. four months before the expansion's August 2016 release. Before the Storm is the Battle for Azeroth prequel novel was originally scheduled to launch in May before appearing in June 2018 before the expansion's release in August of the year 2018. More recently, the Shadowlands Prequel Novel, Shadows Rising, released in July 2020. four months ahead of the Shadowlands expansion that will be released in November 2020.

In light of the prequel novel's publication schedule and the assumption that the novel isn't delayed, it seems to indicate that Blizzard is currently aiming for a release in March 2023 for Dragonflight. It's the exact time frame that fans have speculated about as the reason for the expansion's debut, particularly given that Dragonflight is not yet accessible for testing on game's test environment.

To further support the notion that Dragonflight isn't coming out in 2022 and instead be released in 2023. will be Blizzard recently announced that Shadowlands would be receiving a fourth season. However, it doesn't have new content rather, it will be repurposing previous raids and Dungeons. Season 4 will last a bit longer than a typical season and is expected to arrive later this year. Shadowlands Season 3 started in March. If previous seasons are any guideline, Season 4 will probably last for as long as seven months.

When Dragonflight does arrive this year, it will bring it a new look for the game's talent system. There will be major changes to professions, improved UI as well as a new area of Azeroth exploring, and a completely new race called the Dracthyr The only race to be the new Evoker cheap WoTLK Gold class. Blizzard recently revealed the first mobile game in the franchise, World of Warcraft Arclight Rumble, a Clash Royale-esque strategy game.
